Reclaiming Creativity in the Age of AI
What do we gain when we use a machine to write for us? Efficiency, productivity, speed. But… what do we lose when we outsource our creativity to a machine? That’s the question I confront in my signature talk.
We’re adopting generative AI at record speed—faster than the internet, faster than personal computers. But we are also losing human connection and becoming one of the loneliness generations on the planet.
My own wake-up call came after years of digital overload left me anxious, disconnected, and searching for relief. When I finally wrote my first book, something shifted. Creativity grounded me. It slowed me down. It brought me back to myself.
In my TEDx talk, I teach the practice of creativity-fluidity—how to use technology without losing the vital, embodied experience of making something with your own hands and heart.
Because the process of creating isn’t just how we generate ideas; It’s how we protect our imagination, curiosity, and well-being—the very things that make us human.
